Awarded in "Eichelmann 2025"

Awarded in the "Eichelmann 2025".

"For us, this is the most coherent collection we have tasted in recent years. The Rieslings aged in wood are challenging, they can mature further in the bottle. The Grünschiefer is strikingly fresh, delicately creamy. The two Erste Lage Rieslings are well-balanced: The Steinrossel is ripe, full-bodied, yet grippy and spicy. The Ritterhölle Riesling seems more precise, playing between spicy juice and freshness. Endowed with subtle power, the Große Gewächse from the Johannisberg is polished, with an animating fresh bite in the finish. The Riesling from the Kirchberg is accessible and ripe, full of rich spice, long and persistent. The mildly spicy Große Gewächs from the Scharlachberg has even more power, ripe spicy meld and fine vanilla notes, but also agile freshness, it is persistent - the Riesling with the greatest potential. Of the Kabinett wines from the Felseneck, the 2023 is finely juicy and crisp, the 2022 full-bodied and harmonious. The demanding, peel-spicy 2023 from the Ritterhölle is even more concentrated, with notes of sweet-tart red apples. Fine and spicy is the Spätlese from the Felseneck, a true classic."
